George McCutcheon 1958-2015

Artist who created space for those with learning disabilities – Irish Times Obituary 2015

George’s artistic interest inspired the founding of KCAT. His work has taken him to Germany, Holland, Sweden and America. Painting, drawing and sculpture are his main focus, but mosaics have become a real passion, a wonderful example of which can be seen in the recently completed commission in Dean Street Medical Centre, Kilkenny. Alongside the development of his visual work, George also embarked on a career in theatre for several years before retiring in 2014.
